Gregory Lynn Brooks

Gregory Lynn Brooks, 56, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Monday, August 2, 1965 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of  Katie Sawyer Garrett  and the late John Walker Brooks. Mr. Brooks was an employee of Ermco.

Funeral services for Mr. Brooks will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Calvin Smith. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation for Mr. Brooks will he held Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Augdon Brooks of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son Stormy Brooks (Lindsey) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one step-son Blake Gourley (Katie) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one step-daughter, Brittany Gourley of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his mother and step-father, Katie Sawyer Garrett and Dan of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother, Dewayne Brooks of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Penny Brooks of Dyersburg, Tennessee and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lisa Marie Brooks and  his father, John Walker Brooks.

Honoring Mr. Brooks was pallbearers will be Brad Brooks, Jonathan Brooks, Shawn Torrence, William "Bill" Augdon, Dyllon Chapman and Aaron Sutterer.
