Gerald Douglas Cummings

Gerald Douglas "Jerry" Cummings, 67, of Alsip, Illinois died on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois.

Born Saturday, April 25, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Bobby Cummings and the late Christene Malinda Douglas Cummings. Mr. Cummings was a member of the First Baptist Church in Alsip, Illinois.

Graveside services for Mr. Cummings will be 3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Phillip Senn. Visitation will be from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM on Wednesday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by four brothers, Richard Cummings and Donald Cummings, both of Alsip, Illinois, Phillip Cummings (Laura) of Chicago Ridge, Illinois and Scott Cummings (Lisa) of Newbern, Tennessee; two sisters, Patricia "Gail" Cummings Horn (Thomas) of Huntingdon, Tennessee and Debbie Cummings Morley (Paul) of Bourbonnais, Illinois and a host of nieces and nephews.

Honoring Mr. Cummings as pallbearers will be Russell Horn, Danny Horn, Dylan Cummings, Kevin Cummings, Alex Morley and Zach Morley.
