Georgianna Hale

Georgianna Hale, 72 of the Obion, Tennessee (Cloverdale Community) died on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at her residence.

Born on March 6, 1948 in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Cothran and the late Cathellen Coleman Cothran.  Georgianna was a retired Ophthalmologist with Dr. Jerry Jernigan and Dr. Richard Cape.  She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hale will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 21, 2020 in the the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Dr. Phillip Cook and Mr. Thomas McCullough. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery in Cloverdale, Tennessee. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Bradley J. Hale of Cloverdale, Tennessee; two sons, B. J. Hale (Kristin) of Cloverdale, Tennessee and Ike Horn of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Sandra Saunders (Robert) of Moore, Oklahoma and she was "Mamaw" to her one grandson, Joe Bradley Hale.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Cothran.

Honoring Mrs. Hale as pallbearers will be John Willis, Doug Singletary, Hunter Walton, Thomas McCullough, Chris Hale, Jordan Ramsey and Jeremy Stover. Honorary pallbearers will be Chip King and Allen Herchenhahn.
