George "Georgie" Martin Huey

George "Georgie" Huey, 73, of Cheyenne, Wyoming died on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at his residence in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Born Saturday, October 18, 1947 in Obion, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Samuel Lee Martin Huey, Sr. and the late Emma Frances Odle  Huey. Mr. Huey was a retired construction employee.

Funeral services for Mr. Huey will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Julian Huey. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation for Mr. Huey will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Laureen Huey of Cheyenne, Wyoming; one son, Andy Huey and his wife, Amber of Cheyenne, Wyoming; one daughter, Rebecca Huey of Cheyenne, Wyoming; one brother, Patrick Anthony Huey of Memphis, Tennessee; one half-brother, Samuel Lee Martin Huey of Obion, Tennessee and eight grandchildren, Hanna, Kara, Emma, Brea, Aubrie, Chloe, Makayla and Anthony.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Stephen Huey and two sisters, Mary Ann Newsome and Janice Faye Crist.

Honoring Mr. Huey as pallbearers will be Jeremy Huey, Joel Huey, Marvin Dunlap, Jarrod Crist, Jason Crist and Jason Huey.
