Fairy Mae Hooker

Fairy Mae Hooker, 95 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare-Dyersburg Regional in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, March 14, 1922 in Newbern, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Willie Green Troutt and the late Clara Bell Newsome Troutt. Mrs. Hooker was a homemaker and member of the Trimble United Methodist Church.

Graveside services for Mrs. Hooker will be 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Brian Stahl. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by one daughter, Jane Huntley and her husband, Richard of Newbern, Tennessee; one brother, Ed Troutt of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert W. Hooker and one daughter, Joyce Wells.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Pope, Bryan Pope, Robert Pope, Greg Donaldson, Chris Young and Terry Parker.
