Eric-Clay Carter Asher

Eric-Clay Carter Asher, 39, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Monday, March 28, 2022, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Friday, June 4, 1982, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Clay Carter Asher and Jacqueline Anita Bane Asher. Mr. Asher was a lab technician with Geon of Dyersburg, Tennessee. The times that he cherished the most were those times spent with his family.

Funeral services for Mr. Asher will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 1, 2022, in Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Pastor Philip Tabler. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tennessee. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Amanda Bardwell Asher; two sons, Kevin-Carter Asher of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Jackson Asher of Dyersburg, Tennessee: one daughter, Lily Asher of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his mother, Jacqueline Anita Bane Asher of Friendship, Tennessee; two brothers, Shannon Hill of Jackson, Tennessee and Philip Crawford of Newbern, Tennessee; two sisters, Heather Rodgers of Baldwin, Illinois and Loretta Ubal of Medina, Tennessee and his grandparents Billy Joe and Reba Bane of Dyersburg, Tennessee. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Clay Carter Asher.

Honoring Mr. Asher as pallbearers will be Philip Crawford, Shannon Hill, Rick Rodgers, Brian Cashion, Colten Lanier, and Chad Asher. Honorary pallbearer will be Jeremy Asher.
