Elaina Sue Pleasant Kolwyck, 65, of Trenton, Tennessee, died on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, June 11, 1959, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Phillip "Dock" Pleasant and the late Carly Jean Pruitt Pleasant.
A devoted homemaker, Elaina found joy in music of all kinds, reading, cooking, and even in the simple satisfaction of a well-kept home. She had an eye for capturing moments, always eager to take photographs, yet preferring to remain behind the lens rather than in front of it—ensuring memories were preserved.
Graveside services for Ms. Kolwyck will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Palestine Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating the service will be Bro. Brent Rochelle and Bro. Shaun Hawks. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Adam Kilzer (Elesha) of Friendship, Tennessee; daughters, Danna Riggins of Madison, Tennessee and Emily Kilzer of Dyersburg, Tennessee; sisters, Phyllis Dycus of Newbern, Tennessee and Carol Pleasant Jobe of Dyersburg, Tennessee. Her family was her heart, and her love extended to her seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who brought endless laughter and joy into her days.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Darrell Pleasant.
