Edwin Franklin "Eddie" King, II, 64, of Ridgely, Tennessee left his earthly home peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at his residence in Ridgely, Tennessee.
Born Sunday, March 30, 1958, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Edwin Franklin King and the late Jamie Lou Collins Bullock. His childhood was spent in North Richland Hills, Texas. He was always proud of his Texas roots. While growing up, he enjoyed bull riding and embraced the cowboy spirit. He loved to fish, hunt and hang out with friends. Mr. King was a fuel driver for Gemini Transport. He was formerly employed by Dot Foods and Clark Distributing Co., where he worked as a route salesperson for over twenty years.
Funeral services for Mr. King will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Pastor Ollin Collins. Interment will follow in Pierce Cemetery in Trimble, Tennessee. Visitation for Mr. King will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Lisa Page King of Ridgely, Tennessee; one son, Anthony Dillon King of Fairview, Tennessee; three daughters, Jessica Klauck (Justin) of Mansfield, Texas; Jonna Beth King of Kiel, Wisconsin and Michaela Singley (Steven) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; one brother, Marty King of Arlington, Texas and one sister, Kimberly King of Grand Prairie, Texas. He was lovingly known as "Pop" to his five grandchildren: Konner, Natalie, Kylie, Korbin and Tony.
Honoring Mr. King as pallbearers will be Anthony Dillon King, Steven Singley, Mike Mallard, Mike Via, Patrick Bane, Joe Bonilla, Tyler Fowler, Kelly Tippitt and Jason Leake. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Page and Rudy Page.
