Edward Jacob Upchurch

Edward Jacob Upchurch, 39, of Dyersburg, Tennessee 38024, died on Monday, September 15, 2025, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, October 9, 1985 in Harvey, Illinois, he was the son of the late John William Upchurch and  the late Joy Elaine Kramer Upchurch.

Edward worked as a delivery driver for DoorDash, where he enjoyed meeting people. In his free time, he had a passion for music and could often be found playing and listening to his favorite songs. He also loved playing video games, which brought him many hours of fun and connection with friends

Cremation services for Mr. Upchurch are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by two sisters, Melissa Metcalf (Kevin) of Ellijay, Georgia and Stacy Forde (Patrick) of Crete, Illinois; two nephews, Jake Lambert and Lucas Polmen and three nieces, Heather Howard (Cooper), Amber Elkins and Summer Elkins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Brad Elkins.
