Eathell Boyd

Eathell Boyd, 93, of Dyer, Tennessee died on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at her residence in Newbern, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, January 4, 1927 in Batesville, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Levi Seiber and the late Flossie Bullion Seiber. She was a retired employee of Salant/Salant and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Boyd will be 10:00 AM on Monday, July 27, 2020 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Ronnie Turner, Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, Tennessee. Visitation will be Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Boyd of Yorkville, Tennessee and James Boyd (Ramona) of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Carolyn Boyd of Dyer, Tennessee; one brother, Lester Earl Seiber of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two sisters, Margaret Mills of Florida and Montie Bettuo of Florida; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Boyd; one daughter, Jo Ann Boyd Glisson; her step-mother, who raised her, Bobbie Seiber; six brothers, Lee Seiber, John Seiber, James Monroe Seiber, Lolton Seiber, Kenneth Seiber and Leroy Seiber and two sisters, Jennie McClain and Sue Patterson.

Honoring Mrs. Boyd as pallbearers will be Carol Glisson Millner, Chad Boyd, Sandra Hudgins, Robert Walker, Kevin Boyd and Tim Boyd. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Clark, Joey Millner and Casey Snow.
