Doyle "Dwayne" French, 69 of Troy, Tennessee died on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at his residence in Troy, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, July 29, 1950 in Dyer County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Doyle Jasper French and the late Katherine Elizabeth Davis French. He was an employee of Gibson Farmers Co-Op.

Funeral services for Mr. French will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, March 8, 2020 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Perry Grills. Interment will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be held Saturday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife, Yolaunda "Yogi" French of Troy, Tennessee; one son, David French (Judy) of New Paris, Ohio; his step- daughter, Dakota Dozier of Newbern, Tennessee; one brother, Keith French (Mary Sue) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Sylvia Gruggett of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Grant French (Elizabeth) and Elliott French; one great grandson, Raylan French; his ex-wife of forty years, Rosie French; two nieces, Karen Gruggett and Lori Walker, and a cousin, Lawrence French, that he loved like a brother.

Honoring Mr. French as pallbearers will be David French, Gary Smith, Tommy Capps, Logan McCall, Theron Gean, Paul Cunningham, Brady Wills and Bradley Gray. Honorary pallbearers will Lawrence French, Gene Autry, Charles Cox, Jerry Cunningham and Jimmy Anthony.
