Doris Biggs Willis

Doris Biggs Willis, 89, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Sunday, September 1, 1935, in Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe Biggs and Ethelene Adkins Biggs.  She was a dedicated employee of All Wear Manufacturing in Newbern, Tennessee for many years and a former employee of Dollar General.  Mrs. Willis was a Baptist by faith. The focus of her life was her family, and she cherished the moments that they shared making special memories.

Graveside services for Mrs. Willis will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Zion Cemetery in Cloverdale, Tennessee.  Officiating the service will be Rev. James Hooper.   Visitation for Mrs. Willis will be from 2:30 PM until 3:30 PM on Saturday November 16, 2024, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home is Newbern, Tennessee.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter-in-law, Joyce Willis of Jasper, Indiana; one grandson, Troy Leinenbach and his wife, Kari of Jasper, Indiana: two great-grandsons, Becket Michael, and Connor Gregory all of Jasper, Indiana; sister-in-law, Carolyn Tipton, of Memphis, Tennessee; three nephews, A.D. Tipton of New Orleans, Louisiana, Jeff Biggs (Melba), and Kevin Biggs (Judy) and one niece, Ann Tipton of Memphis, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Frank Willis; one son, Gregory Lynn Willis and one brother, Gene Biggs.

Honoring Mrs. Willis as pallbearers will be Troy Leinenbach, Kevin Biggs, Blake Biggs and Jeff Biggs.
