Doris Fitz

Doris Ann Fitz, 70, of Tiptonville, Tennessee, died Thursday, December 26, 2024, at her residence in Tiptonville, Tennessee.

Mrs. Fitz was born on January 15, 1954, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, to the late Joe Barker and the late Lois Sanford Barker. Mrs. Fitz was a homemaker and enjoyed reading.

Graveside services for Mrs. Fitz will be held at 3:30 PM on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Tony Lawrence. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:30 PM until 3:15 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home

Mrs. Fitz is survived by Jimmy Ray Fitz, of Tiptonville, Tennessee; three sons, Kevin Tipps of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Chris Tipps of Waynesboro, Tennessee and Rodney Tipps (Cynthia) of Ridgely, Tennessee; one stepdaughter, Jessica Butler (Darrell) of South Fulton, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Alex Griffin, Derek Tipps, Parker Tipps, Kileyan Tipps and Alexes Butler and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Tipps; two sisters, Kay Robbins and Dorothy Davis and one brother, Billy Jo Barker.
Honoring Mrs. Fitz as pallbearers will be Darrell Butler, Marty Tipps, Michael Ladd, Brian Palluck and Anthony French.
