Donnie Johnson

Donnie Johnson, 74, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Friday, August 28, 2020 at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, November 17, 1945 in Gary, Indiana, he was the son of the late Willie Randolph Johnson and the late Vivian Marie Boshears Johnson. He was the retired owner of Johnson's BP in Dyersburg, Tennessee and an avid fisherman and hunter.

Graveside services for Mr. Johnson will be 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Meacham Cemetery near Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Mac Daniels, Bro. Larry Ricketts and Bro. Butch Burns. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Randy Johnson (Christie) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three daughters, Lisa Stephenson (Larry) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Angie Meadows (Joe) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Linda Patton (Billy) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother, Larry Johnson (Lorell) of Newbern, Tennessee; seven grand children, Stephen Stephenson (Megean), Hilliary Simpson (Chris), Dana Burns (David) Julie Vanbrocklin, David L. Willard, II (Dana), Jada Gean and Kristy Morgan and seventeen great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Willard Johnson; one son, David Willard; one brother, Jerry Johnson and one sister, Patsy Ray.

Honoring Mr. Johnson as pallbearers will be David Willard, II., Jeff Johnson, Billy Patton, David Jones, Bubba Ricketts, Stephen Stephenson, David Burns and Chris Simpson.
