Don F. Reagan, 84, of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Saturday, December 21, 2024, surrounded by his family, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Monday, July 15, 1940, in Bogota, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Tom Reagan and the late Clelon Brown Reagan. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Mr. Don was a former supervisor at Dyersburg Fabrics, where he worked for twenty-three years. He was a respected businessman owning many businesses in Dyer County, including Mom's Buffet in Newbern, Tennessee. Mr. Reagan was a Mason and Shriner and a member of the Newbern Assembly of God Church.
Funeral services for Mr. Reagan will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2024, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Bro. Mac Daniels. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation for Mr. Reagan will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by his two sons, Byron Reagan of Newbern, Tennessee and Clark Reagan of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one daughter, Joanna Lamb (Tracy) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; honorary son, Temis Watson of Newbern, Tennessee. He was affectionately called "Granddaddy" by four grandchildren, Rebekah Reagan (Matt), Catherine Bellar (Jamie), Andrew Reagan and Reagan Lamb, and four great grandchildren, Daisy Jane Bellar, Errol Bellar, David Ray, and Eli Ray and was Uncle Don to Haley Reagan, Hannah Reagan, and Hunter Terry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-one years, Mary Jane Roberts Reagan; one son, Aaron Reagan and five brothers, Red Reagan, John Reagan, Joe Reagan, Tyrus Reagan, and Harold Reagan.
Honoring Mr. Reagan as pallbearers will be Temis Watson, Andrew Reagan, Jamie Bellar, Matt Ray, Tracy Lamb, and Clark Reagan.
