Doaney Sue Winchester, 76, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Friday, September 15, 1944 in Lauderdale County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Melton Rosco Dennison and the late Joanna Caroline Henderson Dennison. She was a retired charge nurse for Wesley Manor of Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Graveside services for Mrs. Winchester will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Carmen Dennison and Bro. Danny Griffin. Visitation for Mrs. Winchester will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM on Wednesday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Winchester (Sissy) of Newbern, Tennessee and Mark Winchester (Jackie) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one daughter, Michelle Winchester Gray (Lenny) of Bath Springs, Tennessee; four brothers, Freddie Dennison of Memphis, Tennessee, John Dennison of Henning, Tennessee, Carmen Dennison of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Randy Dennison of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Rebecca Deason of Dyersburg, Tennessee; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Max Winchester; three brothers, Sammy Denison, Eugene Dennison and Mike Dennison and one sister, Susan Tirey.
