Dewayne Biggers

Dewayne Thomas Biggers, 77, of Trimble, Tennessee died on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, August 16, 1947, in Paducah, Kentucky, he was the son of the late James Elbert Biggers and the late Anna Louise Prince Biggers. 

He was a devoted employee of Holloway Construction for many years, where his dedication and hard work left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Dewayne had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether it was casting a line into the water or simply rocking on his front porch, he found joy in the simple things. Friends and family could always count on him to share a story, flash a sly grin, or pull a harmless prank—his mischievous nature was a treasured part of who he was.

Though he may no longer be sitting on the porch watching the world go by, his spirit lives on in the stories we tell, the memories we hold dear, and the laughter that lingers after a good joke.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Biggers will be held at 4:00 Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Truth & Life Church, 1199 Main Street, Calvert City, Kentucky.   

He leaves to cherish his memory; one sister, Janet Springer (Larry) of Calvert City, Kentucky, a host of extended family members that he loved dearly which includes his wife's brothers and sisters, the Mary Ring family, whom he cherished as his own. Dewayne’s heart was full of love for them, and he was grateful for the warmth, laughter, and support they shared throughout the years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-four years, Darlene Ring Biggers and three brothers, Junior Biggers, Roy Biggers and Robert Biggers.
