Denise Stewart, 54, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at her residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, June 26, 1965 in Buckeye, Arizona , she was the daughter of the late Paul Pearce and the late Rita Lavaun Hatfield Speers. Mrs. Stewart was a homemaker and was affectionately called MawMaw, Grandma and NeNe by her family, whom she loved dearly.

Funeral services for Mrs. Stewart will be 12:00 PM on Monday, June 8, 2020 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Pastor Mychal Hunt. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, James A. Stewart of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Cody Pierce, II (Amber) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two daughters, Kacee Hardy (Steven) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Jess Pierce of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two brothers, Nick Pearce (Karla) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Tim Pearce of Grand Junction, Colorado; one sister, Kimalee Pearce of Dyersburg, Tennessee and four grandchildren, Tyler Pierce, Rylee Pierce, Sadie Pearce and Lexie Hardy.

Honoring Mrs. Stewart as pallbearers will be Jason Stewart, John Hensley, Mike Cowan, Jeff Pearce, Gary Alexander, Johnny Pearce and Steven Sutton. Honorary pallbearers will be Keishawn Harris and Kolbi Battles.
