Delores Ann Cook, 84, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Friday, April 30, 2021, at her residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Friday, November 27, 1936 in Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Nois Lee Winchester and the late Lola May Riddick Winchester . She was a retired hairdresser and enjoyed being member of the Senior Line-Dancing Group at Dyersburg Community Activity Center.
Graveside services for Mrs. Cook will be 12:30 PM on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will Mr. Joseph F. Cook and Rev. Kenny Chessor. Friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memory; two sons, Glen W. Cook (Rosio) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Joseph F. Cook (Chrissy) of Little Rock, Arkansas; one daughter, Debra Ann Cook Furrow (Cecil) of Beebe, Arkansas; two brothers, Jimmy Winchester (Ginger) of Newbern, Tennessee and Rickey Winchester (Debbie) of Alamo, Tennessee; two sisters, Yvone Maze (Leo) of Hartselle, Alabama and Barbara Hosier (Paul) of Chesterfield, Virginia; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Wayne Cook; one brother, Alton Lee Winchester and one sister, Merle Lukacik.
Honoring Mrs. Cook as pallbearers will be Cecil Furrow, Jimmy Winchester, Logan Clay, Russell Cozart, Doug Rone, Preston Simerall and Justin Cook.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be directed to the Dyer County Community Cancer Fund, P. O. Box # 1055, Dyersburg, Tennessee 38024.
