Kay Ware, 55 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.
Born Tuesday, December 16, 1969, in Blytheville, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late August Lilly and the late Glenda Kay Dorris Lilly. Ms. Ware was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister; she lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and unwavering love for her family. Kay had a sweet, loving and kind spirit. She was always on the hunt for a bargain. Her family would say Kay had "Penny Shopping down to an art".
Memorial services will be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday October 14, 2025, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Mike McCullough. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM until service time at 7:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 26 years, Clifford Ware; her daughter, Angela Minjares; three sisters, Debby Stanford of Jackson, Tennessee; Kim Burns and Kathy Burns both of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother, Donny Lilly of Houghton, Louisiana: two grandchildren, Brayden Minjares and Juanita Minjares; Alex Duncan was her grandson who she loved to the moon and back. She leaves a host family and friends who will always love and remember her.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Lilly and Ken Lilly.
