Debra Jo Sharp Obituary

Debra Jo Sharp, 66, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at her residence in Newbern, Tennessee.

Born Friday, January 21, 1955 in Troy, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late James Harold Hunt and the late Mary Jo Grady  Hunt. Ms. Sharp was the former office Co-Ordinator for Boston Baskin Cancer Institute in Memphis, Tennessee.

A celebration of life service for Ms. Sharp will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the Dyer County Rescue Building in Newbern,Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Kenny Chessor.

She leaves, to cherish her memory, one son James Ryan Reed (Kristen) of Knoxville, Tennessee; one daughter, Kerri Lynn Klutts (Jason) of Newbern, Tennessee; one brother, Tony Hunt (Beth) of Memphis, Tennessee; one sister, Kim Moran ( David) of Union City, Tennessee, eight grandchildren, Chelsea Cobb, Zoie Transou of Jackson, Tennessee, Lane Klutts of Halls, Tennessee, Carlee Klutts of Newbern, Tennessee, Jamison Reid of Newbern, Tennessee, Jessie Lynn Reed of Knoxville, Tennessee, Harper Jo Reed of Knoxville, Tennessee and Rowen Reed of Knoxville, Tennessee; three great-grandchildren, and she was "Nana" to her two nephews, Bruce Dickson and Bryce Moran.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Sharp  one daughter, Jennifer Jo Reed and one step-daughter, Brandy Langston.
