Deborah Sawyer Obituary

Deborah "Joan" Sawyer, 69,of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Monday, October 19, 2020, at AHC of Dyersburg in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Friday, May 11, 1951 in Gibson County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late George Oran Barham and the late Ruth Evelyn Young  Barham. She was a home-maker and retired employee of All-Wear Manufacturing.

Graveside services for Mrs. Sawyer will be10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Walnut Grove Cemetery near Central. Officiating this service will be Bro. Jack Chapman. Friends are asked to gather at the cemetery. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of fifty-two years, Kenneth Sawyer; two sons, Chris Sawyer of Newbern, Tennessee and Brian Sawyer of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Jenny Wales (Derek) of Finley, Tennessee; two sisters, Ruby Ricketts (Larry) of Newbern, Tennessee and Pam Stafford (J. R.) of Paris, Tennessee and was "Grandma" to her four grandchildren, Brooke Evelyn Sawyer, Christopher Garrett Sawyer, Marlee Grace Wales and Miller Everett Wales.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Barham and two sisters, Linda Carol Gibson and Patricia Ann Carter.
