David B. Love

David B. Love, 82, of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at his residence in Newbern, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, June 10, 1944, in Spring Valley, Illinois, he was the son of the late Edward Love and the late Delores Destri Love.

David dedicated many years of his career as a proud member of the Labor Union in Illinois, where he earned the respect of his coworkers through his strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to his trade. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His military service reflected his courage, sense of duty, and deep love for his nation—qualities that remained with him throughout his life.

Cremation services for Mr. Love are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by two sons, Phillip Love (Emily) of Wenona, Illinois and David Love of Granville, Illinois; one daughter, Lori Kramer (Curtis) of LaSalle, Illinois and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
