David Reynolds, 65, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.
Born Friday, November 5, 1954, in Malvern, Arkansas, he was the son of the late William Frank Reynolds and the late Lula Marie Huey Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was retired from Sara Lee Manufacturing and was a member of First Christian Church in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
David retired from Sara Lee after many years of dedicated service. He was able to enjoy the labors of his life long dream to help others by starting his own handyman business. His greatest joy was completing the job and knowing the people he worked for were happy. He also helped so many preserve their special occasions through David Reynolds Photography. David loved his family. He supported each family member in their own dreams. No task was too big for David when it came to his family. David loved the Lord and shared his belief with others. He had many friends to whom his family is extremely thankful for their prayers, thoughts, concerns and love. They will be forever grateful.
Funeral services for Mr. Reynolds will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at First Christian Church in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Mr. Jeff Hall. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM at First Christian Church in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Reynolds of Dyersburg, Tennessee, one daughter, Jennifer Reynolds Wylie (Justin) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, three sons, Jonathan Reynolds of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Richie Berry (Kelly) of Newbern, Tennessee and Brad Berry (Christy) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two sisters, Dean Bittle (Bobby) of Dover, Arkansas and Linda Dame (Bill) of Benton, Arkansas; one brother, Wayne Reynolds (Jessie) of Troy, Maryland; six granddaughters, Brintley Wylie, Courtney Berry, Caitlyn Berry, Molly Campbell, Sydney Campbell, Lilly Campbell; one grandson, Lane Wylie; two sister-in-laws, Diane Ross, Tippy Yarbrough (Theron) and one brother-in-law Tim Akin (Ellen).
Honoring Mr. Reynolds as pallbearers will be Eugene Smith, Mark Downing, Johnny Hulgan, Joe Jennings, Dan Smith and David Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Baker and Chris Bivens.
