David Baxter

David Baxter, 66, of Ridgely, Tennessee died on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at his residence in Ridgely, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, September 24, 1958, he was the son of the late Lonzo Baxter and the late Lydia Hinson Baxter.

David enjoyed the outdoors and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid deer hunter and loved spending time in nature. For many years, he was a dedicated employee of Heckethorn Manufacturing, where he worked until his retirement.

Cremation services for Mr. Baxter are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory; one  sister, Betty Sue Hays of Ridgely, Tennessee and a host of nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie J. McClain and Barbara Ann Staggs and two brothers, Billy Ray Baxter and Jerry Wayne Baxter.
