Daniel Eugene "Dan" Ramey

Daniel Eugene "Dan" Ramey, 69, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Friday, January 21, 2022, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, January 6, 1953 in Dyer County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Doc Ramey and the late Ruby McKee Ramey. Mr. Ramey was a retired employee of HECO Manufacturing.

Funeral services for Mr.Ramey will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.  Officiating this service will be Rev. Lindon Frost.  Interment will follow at Sorrells Chapel Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee.  Visitation will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of twenty-two years Jeannie Epperson Ramey of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two daughters, Latisha Sweatt (Don) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Laura Ramey of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three sons, Justin McGuire (Chantel) of Rutherford, Tennessee, Robert Ramey  of Selmer, Tennessee and Danny Ramey (Melissa) of Corinth, Mississippi; one brother, George Ramey (Brenda) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Peyton Sweatt, Payleigh Sweatt, Chayce Sweatt, Alexander McGuire, Cayden Edwards, Robert Ramey, Jr., Hanna Ramey, and Mike Ramey; two great-grandchildren, his furry friends, Keria and Pikucah.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, six brothers, and two grandchildren.

Honoring Mr. Ramey as pallbearers will be Ricky Carroll, Fellor Sweatt, Mike Patel, Troy Sweatt, Adam Edwards and Don Sweatt.
