Clifford Ray Arrington Obituary

Clifford Ray Arrington, 82, of Ridgely, Tennessee, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, died on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at his residence in Ridgely, Tennessee, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born Wednesday, May 6, 1942, he was the son of the late, Carley Pete Arrington and the late Bessie Davenport Arrington. Mr. Arrington grew up with a strong sense of responsibility and passion for life.  He dedicated much of his life to providing for his family as a truck driver for Alan's Industrial Waste. A true family man, he treasured every moment spent with his loved ones. His laughter, kindness and unwavering support will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

To celebrate Mr. Arrington's life a visitation for Mr. Arrington will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Beatrice "Bea" Webb Arrington: one daughter, MaDonna Bone (David) of Ridgely, Tennessee; one son, Michael Arrington of Nashville, Tennessee; one sister, Rita Crews (Jimmy) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; he was "Papaw" to his eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded he was preceded in death by one son, David Garland; five sisters, Carlene Landers, Shirley Bray, Sylvia Walker, Pat Reedy and Ludie Williams and four brothers, Roger Arrington, Robert Arrington, Woodrow Arrington and Leon Arrington.
