Claudine Martin Minton, 90, of Kenton, Tennessee (Cool Springs Community), died on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at her residence.
Born Tuesday, October 8, 1929, in McNairy County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Claude Martin and the late Cleva Anna Massengill Martin. Mrs. Minton was associated with the family business, Minton Farms. She was a member of Cool Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Graveside services for Mrs. Minton will be 1:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Cool Springs Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Rev. Jamie Adams. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of seventy-two years, Robert Edward Minton of Kenton, Tennessee (Cool Springs Community); one daughter, Jenny DeLoach (Bill) of Humboldt, Tennessee; her daughter-in-law, Ann Minton of Trimble, Tennessee; one sister, Barbara Davis of Dyersburg, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Chris Minton, Rob DeLoach (Ashlee), Erin Street (Greg) and Janna Hemmings (Anthony); eight great-grandchildren, Lucas Rickman, Lily Rickman, Hattie Minton, Keegan Street, Webb Street, Walt DeLoach, Saylor Street, Will DeLoach and a special friend, Wendy Greene.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Edward Minton; two brothers, Robert Martin and Rayburn Martin and one sister, Mae Miller.
Honoring Mrs. Minton as pallbearers will be Chris Minton, Rob DeLoach, Greg Street, Anthony Hemmings, Seigel Jackson, Richie Fowlkes, Desmond Coble and Harold Dunivant.
