Christopher Shane Ross Obituary

Christopher Shane Ross, 47, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Monday, September 7, 2020, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Thursday, September 14, 1972 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Louis E. Ross and the late Mary Sue Permenter Ross. Christopher was one of God's special children. # We loved him so. He was a devoted member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Private graveside services for Christopher will be 11:00 AM on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Mr. Jeff Ross and Mr. Kirk Moore.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three brothers, Richard Ross (Kaye) of Newbern, Tennessee,  David Ross (Pam) of Newbern, Tennessee and Jeff Ross (Gay) of Troy, Tennessee; three sisters, Phyllis Powers of Newbern, Tennessee, Diane Moore (Tom) of Milan, Tennessee and Cindy Wallace (Joe) of Gilbertsville, Kentucky and ten nieces and nephews.

Honoring Christopher as pallbearers will be Marty Taylor, Kirk Moore, Justin Wallace, Tyler Wallace, Andrew Ross and Matt Ross.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions should be directed to Fairview Baptist Church, 4726 Biffle Road, Newbern, Tennessee 38059 or Special Olympics Tennessee, 461 Craighead Street, Nashville, Tennessee  37204.
