Chad Alford Millner, 50, of Friendship, Tennessee died on Monday, April 13, 2026, at his residence in Friendship, Tennessee.
Born Friday, May 16, 1975, he was the son of Neal Alford Millner (Mary Beth) and Tommie Hendrix Drumwright (Gary).
Chad was a skilled construction worker and welder. He took pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way.
An avid outdoorsman, Chad found his greatest joy in nature. He loved hunting deer and turkey, but more than anything, he treasured the time spent deer hunting alongside his father and family. Those moments in the woods became lasting memories that his loved ones will hold close forever.
Chad had a playful spirit and was well known for being a prankster. His family fondly remembers the many times he made them smile, especially with his signature gesture that became his trademark and brought laughter to all who experienced it.
He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a proud member of the Mid South Riders for many years, forming strong bonds and friendships through his shared passion.
Above all, Chad loved his family. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he deeply cherished the time they spent together, creating memories filled with love, laughter, and joy.
Funeral services for Mr. Millner will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Travis Davison. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Tommie Hendrix Drumwright (Gary) of Curve, Tennessee; his father, Neal Alford Millner (Mary Beth) of Friendship, Tennessee; his partner in crime, Melissa "Missy" Crawford of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Eli Millner of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one daughters, Elizabeth Ciechan (Jimbo) of Dyersburg, Tennessee ; three sisters, Tracy Mudd (Kevin) of Halls, Tennessee, Amy Bizzle (Jason) of Finley, Tennessee and April Lescure of Dyersburg, Tennessee and he was "Pappy" to his three grandchildren, Noah, Ciana and Layton and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family that he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by one son, Johnathon Allan "John" Curtis and his grandparents, Thomas and Rachel Hendrix and Bill and Crindola Millner.
