Carolyn White Roberts,73, of Alamo, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the home of her sister in Rives, Tennessee.
Born on November 17, 1951, Carolyn was the daughter of the late James Leonard White and Freddie Jean Biggers White. She dedicated her professional life to public service as a property assessor for the State of Tennessee, retiring with pride and distinction.
Carolyn was a spirited soul whose passions brought joy to those around her. She had a deep love for motorcycles, a zest for travel, and a green thumb that flourished in her garden. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and connection—cooking was her love language, and she shared it generously with family and friends.
She is survived by her two sons, John Roberts and David Roberts, both of Dyersburg, Tennessee; her brother, James "Junior" White (Kim) of Cadiz, Kentucky; and her sisters, Jeanie Weldon of Newbern, Tennessee and Tammy Harris (Ricky) of Rives, Tennessee. Carolyn was a proud and loving grandmother to five grandchildren: Jacob Roberts, Emily Roberts, Anna Kate Roberts, Lindsey Crews, and Hannah Crews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Stauffer.
A Celebration of Life Visitation for Carolyn will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
