Carolyn Joan Randolph, 82, of the Cloverdale Community, formerly of Hornbeak, Tennessee, died on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at her residence in Obion, Tennessee.
Born Friday, May 2, 1941, in Hornbeak, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Paul Wherry and the late Eunice Velma Willett Wherry. Mrs. Randolph received her associate degree from Freed Hardeman University. She was a homemaker and retired waitress at Our Place in Hornbeak, Tennessee. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, collecting unusual rocks and spending time with her neighbors and family. Mrs. Randolph was a member of the Hornbeak Church of Christ.
Funeral services for Mrs. Randolph will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Archie Larry. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak, Tennessee, with Rev. Richard Pollock officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Kimberly Pollock (Richard) of the Cloverdale Community; three sons, Ralph Layne Randolph of Jackson, Tennessee, Michael Randolph (Melinda) of Greenfield, Tennessee and Corey Randolph (Donese) of Oxford, Mississippi and she was "Granny Carol," "Grammy." "Tootles," and "Granny" to her twelve grandchildren, Emily McDade, Taylor Gooch, Bradley Randolph, Dalton Gooch, Alie Tetleton, Mallory Randolph, Jared Pollock, Chelsey Randolph, Canyon Pollock, Taylor Pollock, Kelsey Pollock and Jonathan North and five great-grandchildren Kinsley McDade and Neylee McDade and soon to join the family, in September, will be Triplets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, of Thirty-seven years. Ralph William Randolph and one brother, John Paul Wherry.
Honoring Mrs. Randolph as pallbearers will be Jared Pollock, Canyon Pollock, Dalton Gooch, Taylor Gooch, Bradley Randolph and Jordan McDade. Honorary pallbearers will be Emily McDade, Alie Tetleton, Dillion Tetleton, Mallory Randolph and Chelsey Randolph.
