Calvin Lambert

Calvin Lambert, 74,  of Newbern, Tennessee died on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Born on August, 16, 1949, in Poteau, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late James D. Lambert and the late Anna Belle Neff Lambert.  Mr. Lambert was the Paving Division Manager for Ford Construction, where he worked for fifty-six years.  He was a member of  The Farms and the Dyersburg Moose Lodge.  Mr. Lambert enjoyed golfing , fishing and was an avid University of Tennessee Football Fan.

Graveside services for Mr. Lambert will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Mr. John Ford and Mr. Patrick Williams. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of forty-two  years, Darlene Underwood Lambert of Newbern, Tennessee; one son, Logan Lambert of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Carissa Malatesta (Mark) of Port Orange, Florida; one brother, Robert Lambert of Alexandria, Louisiana; one sister, Judith Lambert Emrick (Rick) of Nashville, Tennessee and two grandchildren, Brianna Klutts and Morgan Klutts (Haley).

Honoring Mr. Lambert as pallbearers will be Mark Malatesta, Morgan Klutts, Mike Underwood, Paige Underwood, Kenneth Hartsfield and Brian Marsh.
