Bridget Ogden Obituary

Bridget Ogden, 35, of Newbern, Tennessee, ran into the arms of Jesus to give him a hug, on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at her residence in Newbern, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, August 10, 1988, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Kirby and Judy Gregroy Ogden.  Bridget was a 2006 graduate of Dyer County High School.  Bridget will always be remembered for her kind sweet spirit and her infectious smile. She loved butterflies, gospel music and the color purple.  Bridget was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Bridget will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Joe Wright, Bro. Gene Stafford, Bro. Richard Bray and Bro. Mickie Jackson. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted parents, Kirby and Judy Ogden of Newbern, Tennessee; one brother, Brandon Owen (Tanya) of Nashville, Tennessee; one sister, Beth Ogden of Phoenix, Arizonia; grandparents, Evie Gregory of RoEllen, Tennessee and Roger and Becky Ogden of Newbern, Tennessee; three uncles, Mark Gregory (Sandy) of Georgia, Mike Gregory (Becky) of Hornbeak, Tennessee and Kevin Ogden (Valerie) of Jackson, Tennessee and special friend Kathy Butler of Newbern, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James Gregory and Juanita Ogden.

Honoring Bridget as pallbearers will be Rusty Fortner, Eddie Blair, Josh Budnik, Jonathan Symons, Jimmy Roe and Roy Rainey. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Wright and Tommy Kelley.

To honor Bridget's love of the color purple, please wear that color to the visitation and service in honor of Bridget.

The family ask that memorial contributions be directed to the Dyer County Dream Factory P. O. Box # 1111, Dyersburg, Tennessee 38025.
