Brenda Lee Blalock Dunn Obituary

Brenda Lee Blalock Dunn, 68, of Kenton, Tennessee, died on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Regional One Medical in Memphis, Tennessee.

She was born on August 14, 1957, in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Brenda was a woman whose greatest joy was her family. She loved deeply and wholeheartedly, always making herself available to those she loved. Whether offering encouragement, sharing laughter, or simply spending time together, she cherished every moment with her children, grandchildren, and loved ones. The memories she created with her family will forever be held close to their hearts.

A strong and resilient woman, Brenda's faith guided her throughout her life. She loved the Lord and found comfort and strength in her relationship with God. Her unwavering faith was evident in the way she lived and cared for others.

Brenda enjoyed a life filled with simple pleasures and meaningful experiences. During her years working as a cook aboard riverboats, she delighted in traveling the waterways and seeing the beauty of the world around her. She had a love for music, nature, and the outdoors. She enjoyed spending time outside surrounded by flowers enjoying the peaceful beauty of God's creation.

One of her favorite places was Natchez Trace State Park, where she loved "cabin camping" and escaping to the tranquility of the outdoors. She appreciated the simple life and found joy in life's everyday blessings. Friends and family could often find her with a nice cold Coca-Cola in hand, enjoying a conversation or simply taking in the beauty of the day.
