Bobby Gene Walker, 78, of Adamsville, Tennessee, died on Monday, August 21, 2023, at his residence in Adamsville, Tennessee.
Born Friday, January 19, 1945, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late James Coy Walker and the late Polkie Craig Walker. Mr. Walker was a retired Senior Engineer with PCA Counce Mill and owner of BWPilot Car Service. Mr. Walker served his country in the United States Army.
Graveside services for Mr. Walker will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Pisgah Cemetery in Counce, Tennessee. Friends are asked to gather at the cemetery. Officiating this service will be Rev. Paul Davidson. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife if thirty-three years, Carolyn Winchester Walker of Adamsville, Tennessee; one son, Brent Walker (Jennifer) of Counce, Tennessee; one daughter, Marita Wilbanks (Junior) of Counce, Tennessee; one sister, Carol Anderson of Dyersburg, Tennessee and he was "Papaw" to his four grandchildren, Peyton Dicus, Lillian Wilbanks, Ella Walker and Drake Walker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by his brother, Dale Walker.
