Bobby Gene Barbee

Bobby Gene Barbee, 79, of Rutherford, Tennessee died Monday, July 12, 2021, at  his residence in Rutherford, Tennessee..

Born Saturday, May 2, 1942, in Tennessee, he was the son of the late  Robert Earl Barbee and the late Rosa Bell Barbee.  Mr. Barbee was a retired truck driver and proudly served his country in the US Navy.  He enjoyed fishing and loved making people laugh.

Cremation services are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Tina Leek of Brownsville, Tennessee and Kristi Barbee of Brownsville, Tennessee; four sisters,  Darlene McCurdy (Jerry) of Troy, Tennessee, Judy Woods of Humboldt, Tennessee,  Patsy Jones of Tigrett, Tennessee and Cheryl Newmon (Bill) of Ripley, Tennessee; two brothers. Talmadge Barbee (Tammy) of Rutherford, Tennessee and Roger Barbee (Sebrina) of LaCenter, Kentucky; one nephew who cared for him, Justin Barbee (Nickole) of Rutherford, Tennessee and six grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mollie Barbee; one son, Kevin Barbee; two sisters, Rita Stafford and Shelia Joyce and two brothers, Robert Barbee andTony Barbee,
