Bobby "Babe" Curtis

Bobby "Babe" Curtis, 68, of Finley, Tennessee died on Friday, April 30, 2021, at Barnes-Jewish Community Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Born Tuesday, March 24, 1953 in Dyer County, Tennessee, he was the son of late David Curtis and the late Virginia Champion Curtis.  Mr. Curtis was a retired supervisor at Ermco of Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Funeral services for Mr. Curtis will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Charlie Halliburton. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation for Mr. Curtis will be held on Wednesday from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Shelia French Curtis of Finley, Tennessee; two sons, Bobby Lynn Curtis of Idlewild, Tennessee and David Allan Curtis (Lisa) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two brothers, Billy Wayne Curtis (Bonnie) of Pensacola, Florida and Larry Dale Stephenson (Lisa) of Finley, Tennessee; one sister, Janice Stephenson of Finley, Tennessee; grandchildren, Elizabeth Marie Ciechan (Jimmy) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Hailey, Taylor and Tyler Murray of Newbern, Tennessee; two great-grandchildren, Ciana and Noah Ciechan both of Dyersburg, Tennessee and his God-daughter, Kayla Kile (Jerry and Lydia) of Dyersburg, Tennessee

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, John Allan Curtis; one brother, David Curtis and one sister, Martha Sue Curtis.

Honoring Mr. Curtis as pallbearers will be Chuck Smith, Mark Asher, Cliff Pruitt, Scott Thacker, Bill Mancell and Danny Lacy.
