Mr. Billy Gene "Bo" Rogers, Jr. 69, of Buchanan, Tennessee, died on Friday, June 26, 2026, at his residence in Buchanan, Tennessee.
He was born on August 21, 1956, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Billy Gene Rogers, Sr. and the late Dorris Carpenter Rogers.
He was the co-owner of Billy Rogers Mechanical for many years, where he built lasting friendships and earned the respect of those he worked with. He loved his family deeply and treasured every moment they shared together.
Fishing was one of his greatest passions, and he especially loved spending time at Kentucky Lake. Whether it was an early morning on the water watching the sunrise or a quiet afternoon casting a line, he found peace and happiness being outdoors and near the water.
Funeral services for Mr. Rogers will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 28, 2026 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Bro. Ronnie Turner. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation for Mr. Rogers will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of forty-nine years, Kathy Joyce Clendennin Rogers of Buchanan, Tennessee; three sons, Billy Rogers III (Misti) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Brian Newell (Kimberly) of Halls, Tennessee, and Patrick Rogers (Jeannie) of Rives, Tennessee; two sisters, Judy West (Gene) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Rhonda "Tootsie" Tatum of Dyersburg, Tennessee; sister in law, Fanchon Rogers of Dyersburg, Tennessee; he was "PaPaw" to his six grandchildren, Lauren Hostetler, Madison Crews, Carrington Newell, Chloe Peevyhouse, Carter Peevyhouse, and Evie Rogers and four great grandchildren, Jackson, Olivia, Chase Hostettler, and Everly Crews; his fur baby Sophie and a host of aunts and uncles that he loved dearly/
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased in death by his brother, Sammy Rogers.
Honoring Mr. Rogers as pallbearers will be Carrington Newell, Carter Peevyhouse, Jimmy Boss, John Bruzewski, Blake Tatum, and Bobby Turner. Honorary pallbearer will be Austin Rogers.
