Betty J. Wheeler

Betty J. Wheeler, 85, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Oakwood Community Living Center in Dyersburg,Tennessee.

Born Thursday, October 14, 1937, in Dyer County, Tennessee.  She was the daughter of the late Brank Whitson and  the late Nettie Newsome Whitson. Ms. Wheeler was a retired nurse from Goodyear, where she worked for more than thirty years.  She attended Three Oaks Baptist Church.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

She is survived by one grandson, Kevin Hill (Whitney) of Newbern, Tennessee; three great-grandchildren Kennedy Hill, Parker Hill and Georgia Ann Hill all of Newbern, Tennessee and  two nephews Wallace Anderson and Walter Lynn Asbille.
 
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter Joyce Ann Wheeler Hill;  two brothers Joe Whitson and William Earl Whitson and one sister Sue Anderson.
