Bertha Alexander Obituary

Bertha D. Alexander, 92 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at her residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Sunday, March 8, 1925 in Halls, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Fred Biggers and the late Amanda Biggers. Mrs. Alexander was a home-maker and member of the Church Of Jesus Christ.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alexander will be 1:00 PM on Monday, February 19, 2018 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Nathan McCormick. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by three sons, Michael King (Margie) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Joe King and Thomas Presley (Susan Choate) of Newbern, Tennessee; three daughters, Brenda Spry (Danny) of Newbern, Tennessee, Barbara Davis of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Kathy Crank (Keith) of Chicago, Illinois and a several grandchildren which include Kayla Coleman and Amanda Presley; several great-grandchildren which include Kennedy Coleman and several great-great-grandchildren..

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy Lowe and Timothy King and four sisters, Lucille Hagar, Ida Mae Sweatt, Jean White and Opal Culter.

Pallbearers will be Richard Conley, Jackie Cashion, William Norman, Forrest Coleman and Taylor Coleman.
