Bernard Nicholas "Nick" Oechsner, Jr., 73, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Thursday, October 31, 1946 in San Bernardino, California, he was the son of the late Bernard Nicholas Oechsner and the late Lois Marion Vaughn Oechsner. Mr. Oechsner was a retired MTCE Supervisor for Fred Myers, Inc.

Cremation services for Mr. Oechsner are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Bobbye JoAnn Anderson Oechsner of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one daughter, Amy Cottrell (Phillip) of Newbern, Tennessee; five step-daughters, Serena Lewis (Jeffrey) of Prineville, Oregon , Renee Finley (Danny) of Rainier, Washington, Rose Maupin of Newbern, Tennessee, Sara Torrence (Eric) of Newbern, Tennessee and Beverly Dean of Dyersburg, Tennessee, one sister, Cheryl Barnes and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Oechsner.
