Belinda Joyce Morgan, 68, died on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born on Wednesday, November 14, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, Belinda spent most of her professional life working as an accountant, where she was known for her attention to detail, strong work ethic, and integrity. In the last chapter of her career, she served as a 911 dispatcher for the City of Dyersburg. Though she held that role for only eight months, her calm voice and steady presence provided reassurance to many during critical moments, and she was quickly admired for her dedication and composure under pressure.
A true animal lover, Belinda had a deep affection for all creatures great and small. Her gentle spirit and caring nature touched both people and animals alike.
Belinda was known for her kind heart and friendly demeanor. She never met a stranger and was blessed with many friendships that she cherished deeply.
Cremation services for Ms. Morgan are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Melissa Worley and her husband, Ralph of Paducah, Kentucky and she was "Grandma" to her three grandchildren, Isaiah, Katie and Hunner and two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Nova Jane.
