Barbara Fay Palmer

Barbara Fay Cogburn Palmer, 74, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Monday, October 2, 2023, at her residence.

Born Sunday, August 28, 1949, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Earnest Hamilton Cogburn and the late Betty Jewel Rice Cogburn.  Mrs. Palmer was a retired switch board operator for First Citizens National Bank.  

Cremation services for Mrs. Palmer are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one sister, Patricia Cogburn Ezell of Charlotte, North Carolina, one niece, Brandilyn Reavis of Gastonia, North Carolina and her caregiver, Amanda Etheridge of Dyersburg, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Palmer and one sister, Frances Lorraine Cogburn.
