Audie B. "Jo" Ivy

Audie B. "Jo" Ivy, 81, of Gleason, Tennessee, died on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at her residence in Gleason, Tennessee.

Born Thursday, July 2, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Claude Dean and the late Liley Mae Watson Dean. Mrs. Ivy was a retired machine operator for Rolane's.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ivy will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Joe David Watson. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, Tennessee. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory; two sons, Terry Joe Ivy (Monica) of Gleason, Tennessee and Tony Ivy (Karla) of Ridgely, Tennessee; two sisters, Claudie "Jim" Mullins of Tiptonville, Tennessee and Tommie Sue Wyrick of Ridgely, Tennessee; her five grandchildren, Chassidy Byington (Ronnie) of Gleason, Tennessee, Kristen Sandoval (Esteban) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Tony Ivy (Sabrina) of Ridgely, Tennessee, Kelsey Covington (John) of Ridgely, Tennessee and Justin Permenter (Hillary) of Bogota, Tennessee and her special friend, Judy Moser of Gleason, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Teddy Joe Ivy; one grandson, Joshua Smith; one great-grandson, Conner Ivy; two brothers, Woodie Dean and Franklin Dean and one sister, Rachel Stout.

Honoring Mrs. Ivy as pallbearers will be Tony Ivy, Jr., Ronnie Byington, Ashton Byington, Gage Byington, Esteban Sandoval and John Covington. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Permenter and Jimmy Moser, Jr.
