Arnold Grief

Arnold Guthrie Grief, Jr., 58,of Trimble, Tennessee died on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City in Union City, Tennessee.

Born Thursday, December 12, 1963 in South Haven, Michigan, he was the son of the late Arnold Guthrie Grief, Sr. and the late Robbie Goodman Grief. He was a former employee of Colonial Rubber Works and a self-employed laborer.

Graveside services for Mr. Grief will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Pierce Cemetery in Trimble, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Dr. Bill Oakley. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Rebecca Richardson Grief of Trimble, Tennessee; one son, Jacob Warren of Trimble, Tennessee; four sisters, Melba Anderson of Newbern, Tennessee, Theresa Benson (Tony) of Yorkville, Tennessee, Sarah Grief of Ridgely, Tennessee and Elizabeth Jackson (Tim) of Dresden, Tennessee and a host of nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Hicks and Alice Grief.

The family asks that any memorial contributions be made to the Arnold Guthrie Grief, Jr. Fund that has been established through Security Bank.
