Amy Pope McIntosh Obituary

Amy Pope McIntosh, 39, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Friday, March 7, 2025, at her residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Amy was born on March 21, 1985, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, and was raised in Trimble, Tennessee, where she was surrounded by the love and support of her close-knit family.

A dedicated dental hygienist, Amy worked at Northwest Correctional Complex and West Tennessee State Penitentiary, where she was known for her professionalism and kindness. However, her greatest joy in life was her family. She and her husband never missed an opportunity to cheer on their sons, attending every activity with unwavering love and support.

A passionate sports fan, Amy was often found coaching from the sidelines, sharing her enthusiasm and encouragement with those around her. She loved to fish, enjoyed time spent with family and friends, and had a deep appreciation for travel—especially trips to the beach, where she often wished she could stay forever.

A woman of faith, Amy was a member of Trimble Christian Church. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth, smile and unwavering love.

Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
