Alma Rikard Ferguson, 89, of Dickson, Tennessee, died on Friday, November 8, 2024, at NHC of Dickson in Dickson, Tennessee.
Born Monday, October 14, 1935, in Lake County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Luther Edgar Rikard and the late Elizabeth Dean Rikard. Mrs. Ferguson was a member of the Ashland City Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and former factory employee before embarking on a new journey, with her husband, Jack, as the owner/operator of Jackie's Market in Trimble, Tennessee. She was an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed listening to his music and collecting memorabilia. One of her prized possessions was a picture of her and Elvis taken in the late 1950's when she visited Graceland. She and her husband enjoyed riding motorcycles and traveling the United States with fellow members of the Honda Goldwing Riders Club. She was a long time donor and supporter of Lifeline Blood Services and The American Red Cross. The Trimble, Tennessee community was home to her for many years where she was loved dearly by her friends and neighbors. Family was the focus of her life and she cherished each moment spent with them and engaging in their many activities and celebrations.
