Addie Laverne Shuford, 77, of Lynchburg, Tennessee died on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at her residence in Lynchburg, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, January 10, 1948, in Newbern, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Jones, Sr. and the late Alma Carolyn Williams Jones.
Laverne was a talented hairdresser for nearly thirty years, a profession she truly loved and where she made many lifelong friendships. Locally, she worked at Hilltop Hair for several years and was known for her warm smile, skilled hands, and the way she made each client feel special.
She enjoyed quilting and found joy in creating pieces that will be treasured for years to come. She loved her morning coffee, especially when it was shared with her beloved Tuesday ladies. Laverne also had a fondness for shopping—whether it was finding the perfect pair of shoes, a new purse, or her latest discovery on Temu.
Most of all, she cherished time spent with her family and friends, making memories that will be held close in their hearts forever.
