A.D. Somerville

A.D. Somerville,"I'm  A. D.of Tennessee", 84, of Mason, Tennessee died on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Born Thursday, February 3, 1938, he was the son of the late John Taylor and Ellie Goode Taylor.  Mr. Somerville proudly served his country in the United States Army for over twenty years and during the Vietnam War.

Cremation services for Mr. Somerville are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. 

He is survived by two sons, Dean McNeill of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Fred D. Boyd of Baltimore, Maryland; one daughter, Ashley Somerville of Memphis, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Maieya M. McNeill (Nathanica) of Columbia, South Carolina, Kyril D. Copeland of Concord, North Carolina, Zakya M. Lanham (Chris) of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Kalaiah D. McNeill of Austell, Georgia , Christoper, Leander and Emma Boyd all of Memphis, Tennessee; one brother, Alvin Taylor (Martha) of Mason, Tennessee  and a host of extended family members who loved him dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Albert Dean Boyd.
